    Russ Jolly

    DPA President

    Russ Jolly is owner of 214 Media and a fifth generation Texan. He's a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts and has enjoyed a 25 year career in creative storytelling. In the past dozen years, Russ has produced, directed, written, shot & edited over 300 corporate marketing and industrial films for companies across the nation such as Cisco, Humana, Charles Schwab, Hotels.com, HSBC, Tenet Healthcare, Infinera and Mission Foods. From '84-'98, his NYC-based theatre career included work on Broadway, off-B'way and in regional theatres around the country as a director, writer and performer.

    Will Raymond

    DPA Vice President

    Will Raymond is an experienced production professional who's been involved in Texas production since 1999. After working in St. Louis for two years as a broadcast integrator, Will moved to Dallas to lead AMS Pictures' engineering department, installing much of the AMS Dallas facility, heading up design & installation of the AMS Austin facility, and managing AMS's corporate events. In 2005, Firestone Communications recruited Will to head up engineering and production at their studio facility in Fort Worth. That facility is now owned by Studios 121, and in his role Production Manager, Will is responsible for managing production projects and the facility's technical services. Will is the Dallas Producer's Association Vice President and his primary role is to build and manage membership. Will also organizes the monthly "3rd Thursday" Breakfast meetings, and is an active member and supporter of many other industry organizations including TXMPA, Women in Film, MCA-I, SMPTE, TAFTP, and more.

    Clayton Coblentz

    DPA Secretary/Treasurer

    Clayton is an award-winning producer of features, television, corporate video and interactive media. He has served as a producer or manager on over 150 media productions including: Producer, Line Producer or Production Manager on over 85 productions; Field Producer on 30 reality television series episodes; and Producer or Programmer on over 35 interactive media projects. Clayton produced the independent feature film, Echoes of Innocence, which was the third domestic feature to be released digitally (no prints) nationwide on 176 screens in the top 32 markets. Recently, Clayton produced two nationally broadcast television series for the Veria Network, the outdoor wild foods program Hot On The Trail with Sunny Savage and the natural birth/midwifery reality docudrama Labor of Love. Clayton has served on the Borad of Directors for the Dallas Producers Association for the past 7 years including two-terms as President from 2008-2010.

    Elise Baughman

    DPA Board Member

    Elise is currently working in the worlds of producing, acting, and television hosting. She recently moved back to Dallas after working in Los Angeles for several years. As a host she has done everything from interviewing celebrities to hosting a game show in London to traveling the country in an RV. As an actress she has appeared on Monk (USA Network); appeared on Chase (NBC); voiced a lead role in Boz the Bear by the Emmy award-winning producers of Barney; and voiced a lead role in the popular animé series, Dragonball GT (Cartoon Network). As a producer, she has worked on multiple award-winning short films including A Dancing Opossum and Thinking Inside the Box. She is also starting production on a new web series. Elise actually began her journey by majoring in accounting and getting her M.B.A., and made the "natural progression" into the wonderful world of entertainment.

    Dennis Bishop

    DPA Board Member

    A native Texan, Dennis has overseen numerous commercially successful and award winning feature and television productions including: Horton Foote’s Academy Award winning, The Trip to Bountiful; Universal Pictures’ The Fast and the Furious and the acclaimed TV pilot, Dexter for Showtime. As VP of Production at HBO Pictures Dennis oversaw such award winning films as Barbarians at the Gate and And the Band Played On during HBO’s unprecedented Emmy reign. He was a resource advisor for the Sundance Institute and as an educator has served as an adjunct professor at USC, guest lectured, and mentored for the Producers Guild and Directors Guild. Having recently returned to Texas he serves as Senior Advisor of the Lone Star International Film Festival and Film Society after three successful years as Director. Dennis created and is Program Director of the KD College Motion Picture Production Program. He is producing a documentary and consulting on feature films.

    Jeff Evans

    DPA Board Member

    Jeff Evans serves on the board of directors of Texas Motion Picture Alliance and since 1979 has operated a Texas insurance agency specializing in the needs of the production industry. He is a past treasurer of DPA and sits on the advisory council of Dallas Film Society.

    David Maddox

    DPA Board Member

    David Maddox began putting his imagination on film in the seventh grade. With a BA in Radio, Television and Film and over 15 years of professional directorial experience, he still approaches every project with an innate passion for original story telling. David earned his degree from the University of North Texas in 1992 and began his career sound mixing radio commercials. He was soon working behind the camera as an entrepreneurial writer/director/producer for corporate videos and television commercials. In addition to commercial work, David has nearly a dozen original short films to his credit including two award winners. A suspense/thriller The Box received a Platinum Award at the 2007 WorldFest-Houston, and A Day at the Office was awarded the Festival Prize for Best Short Comedy at the 2003 Deep Ellum Film Festival-Dallas. David has also written, directed and produced a series, Reel Dudes, for Internet release and his first feature film is in development.

    Mark Menza

    DPA Board Member

    Composer Mark Menza has been writing, arranging and producing music for over 15 years. Relocating to Dallas from the northeast with an undergraduate music degree from SUNY Fredonia, jazz guitarist Mark Menza began playing, teaching, and writing. Menza Music was founded in 1994 with a focus on scoring to picture offering composing, sound design, audio post production, music supervision, and audio production for all types of media. Mark has worked on the animated series, Jimmy Neutron, DragonBallGT, Beet and Wishbone as well as a spectrum of films, documentaries and commercials.

    Massoum Mirzaei

    DPA Board Member

    After working in the audio/visual industry for nine years, Massoum started Magic Video in 1991 as a leading-edge production company producing corporate events with video at their core. He set out to create a company that would nurture its clients and help them grow as it grew. He has accomplished that and so much more. Massoum has been an integral part of many technological milestones over the years in the A/V and video industries through his contributions and innovations in the production world as well as products as an authorized dealer. Massoum continues to provide solutions for presentations and productions for companies all around the world. But more important than the latest technology, Massoum believes the core of all creation is people. Therefore, he has enjoyed working with clients and colleagues over the years to create solutions to so many production challenges. Magic Video has enjoyed continued growth over the years with the support of those clients and colleagues, some of whom have been with him since the beginning.

    Allen Mondell

    DPA Board Member

    Allen Mondell has worked in films and television as a writer, producer and director for 40 years. He began his career as a newspaper reporter in Baltimore and then went to work for Westinghouse Broadcasting in Baltimore (WJZ-TV) as a writer/director of documentary films. Allen spent five years at public television station KERA-TV in Dallas as a writer, producer and director of documentaries and special programs. He taught in the Peace Corps in West Africa after graduating from Williams College. Together with his wife Cynthia Salzman Mondell, theyare the founders of Media Projects, Inc., a non-profit company dedicated to producing and distributing documentary and educational films. They have produced over 35 documentaries about historical subjects and social issues. Their films have won numerous national awards, are exhibited in museums and have been selected for prestigious screenings in the United States and abroad. Some have received specialized theatrical distribution and have aired nationwide on PBS and cable networks.

    Kerri Navarro

    DPA Board Member

    Kerri Navarro, an award-winning producer, is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas. She produced WFAA's The Gordon Keith Show, a weekly television show for which she won a Lone Star Emmy. Some of her other production credits include producer of Fear Not Films' short film, The Night We Died; production secretary for Ink Bug Productions' film, Humans vs Zombies. She was production coordinator and first assistant director on the TV pilot Ghostbreakers for ABC. Kerri recently formed Black Irish Girl Productions for freelance production work and is represented by The Kim Dawson Talent Agency. She is also on the Board of Directors for WIF.Dallas and is excited to be on the board of Dallas Producers Association.

    Don Stokes

    DPA Board Member

    Don Stokes is president of Post Asylum, a founder & president of TXMPA, past president of DPA, board member of Dallas Film Society and a very active member of the Texas production community for over 35 years. Don has produced award-winning films and videos in the documentary, commercial, and corporate sectors, running the gamut from script and project development, supervision and selection of production teams to budgeting and cost control. As producer, writer, and director, his work has taken him to numerous international locations and rewarded both he and his clients with awards and recognition. He’s a graduate of SMU’s Radio, Television and Film program and credits include executive producer of the Sundance/HBO-Films doc TV Junkie and the feature film The Playroom.
