DPA is establishing Community Partner agreements with industry organizations in the North Texas area to foster communication, cooperation and collaboration between the groups. The Community Partner agreement allows two leaders from the partner organization to attend DPA's regular monthly meetings in exchange for a reciprocal arrangement for two DPA leaders to attend the partner's meetings or events. The agreement also defines a process for communicating each other's meetings and event announcments through each groups' marketing channels. DPA has established a monthly Community Calendar that is emailed to a list of 1,200 recipients including DPA members and people who have signed up to be on the DPA listserv. DPA will include Community Partner announcements in this email for those partners who enter into an agreement to share DPA meetings and events with their membership. Since each partner group may have a different process for communicating with their membership, the reciprocal arrangement can be tailored specifically for each organization within the agreement.
