Worth advertising awards, various film-festival awards, etc, Tim Pugliese was an early, foundational-era, two-term President of the Dallas Producers Association. He received his undergraduate degree in Radio-Television and Film from the University of Texas at Austin, earned his Masters of Fine Arts in Broadcast Television from Southern Methodist University and taught the Advance Film Making lab course at SMU for several years.
