Freelance Producer/Editor, Laura Cargile, has a passion for creating programs that inspire, entertain and inform. For over 25 years, she has teamed with KERA-TV, the North Texas PBS affiliate, on numerous award-winning programs, holding a special affinity for her documentary work like JFK: Breaking the News. Starting in the late 90s, she joined the crew of the children’s show Barney & Friends where she edited scores of episodes and video releases over the course of 13 years. In 2007, she began working on KERA’s long-running business talk show CEO, hosted by Lee Cullum, starting as an editor and then became the show’s producer. In 2021-2022 Laura produced, wrote and edited for AMS Pictures on two series for EarthxTV: Our Living Oceans and House of What?!
